Startup: Picture yourself being present in the situation described in the last five verses of this chapter. Using your imagination, talk about the kinds of sights, smells, sounds, and feelings you might experience.

1. Who are the people playing an important part in this chapter?
2. Here in Acts, a book of action, make an action list of what happens in this chapter.
3. From what you see in the words of Festus in verses 24-27, exactly why was Paul appearing before King Agrippa?
4. EYE FOR DETAIL—From what you recall seeing in this chapter, try answering the following question without looking at your Bible: Why did Festus ask Paul if he was willing to stand trial in Jerusalem? (See verses 3 and 9.)
